The Vanuatu National Youth Council (VNYC) has finally launched a three-week program for the She Can Lead project this month, August in Port Vila.
The program commence with a total of 25 selected females from the 11 Area Councils and the Wards in Port Vila.
She can Lead Project Coordinator, Ms Georgilla Worwor said, the three-weeks training will help embark on the mandate to develop inclusive leadership participation at the youth level by building capacities among young females.

This programme aims to empower young women to lead transformative community development through fostering inclusive representation in formal and decentralized governance structures, shaping a brighter future for all by cultivating the leadership potential of young women by providing comprehensive training, mentorship, and resources to ensure they have the capacity, knowledge, and confidence to conduct community-driven initiatives and be active representatives in local governance.
The project is supported by the United Nations Development Programme – UNDP and in partnership with the Vanuatu Electoral Office.
